Why is it easier for us to meditate on and believe the lies of the enemy (Satan) than it is for us to meditate on and believe the truth of God?
The answer is because we have an enemy who is relentlessly whispering to us poisonous thoughts and accusing us day and night. He never stops and won’t stop until he is stopped for all time.
The Bible says:
So the great dragon was thrown down once and for all. He was the serpent, the ancient snake called the devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole earth. He was cast down into the earth and his angels along with him.
10 Then I heard a triumphant voice in heaven proclaiming:
“Now salvation and power are set in place, and the kingdom reign of our God and the ruling authority of his Anointed One are established. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who relentlessly accused them day and night before our God, has now been defeated—cast out once and for all! 11 They conquered him completely through the blood of the Lamb and the powerful word of his testimony. They triumphed because they did not love and cling to their own lives, even when faced with death.
{Revelation 12:9-11}
This is why it is so important for us to read the Bible daily and meditate on God’s Word continuously.
When we don’t read the Living Word we collect a grotesque build-up of toxic thoughts and feelings.
But Truth flushes out the lies.
It gives our enemy the good ole boot!
Get on outta here Satan; you filthy liar!
You dirty rotten scoundrel!
(As we might say here in the South. Kidding, we don't really talk like that.) ;)
God will lift you up meaning:
When we choose to meditate on and believe the Word of God, His Living Water cleanses out our nasty thoughts, dirty emotions, tainted beliefs and bad habits.
Christ comes riding in to our rescue as our Hero on His white horse and purifies our minds, heart and soul through His words of Love.
Children of God- we don’t have to wait on Christ’s second coming to be Lifted Up on high.
We can call on Him for help and salvation at any time and He will come in a second, in a flash of lightning and lift up our low spirits. We can be caught up to meet with Him in the air night or day.
Satan is described as the prince of power of the air. Don’t get caught up in the whirlwind of his dirty words. His deceptive lies take you nowhere but down, down, down.
And you [He made alive when you] were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of your transgressions and sins, in which you once walked. You were following the ways of this world [influenced by this present age], in accordance with the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who is now at work in the disobedient [the unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God]. {Ephesians 2:2}
Don’t be influenced by the tainted and toxic speech of Satan.
You are being called higher! Allow the Lord to Lift You Up above the wind of this world. Be lifted by the wind of God’s Spirit and the Truth of His Word.
A Hot Air Balloon must have a BURNER in order to be lifted up. The burner heats the air and causes the air to become lighter than the cooler air, causing the balloon to rise and float as if it were in water.
Jesus is the true Breath of Life- the Living Word of God! And Jesus’ Light Burns within us as we meditate on His Truth and His Word! We were created to RISE ABOVE the wicked ways of this world.
The Deity of Jesus Christ
1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.

As we turn and look upon the shining face of the Son, we behold His glory and we tap into His Words of Life and Love. A Fire ignites within us as it did in Moses as He looked upon the burning bush. His Spirit lifts us up and causes us to take FLIGHT into our destiny!
Breathe Him in! Behold His Glory! Be Transfigured by the Renewing of your Mind through the power of His Word!
Place Your Life Before God
12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
{Romans 12:2}
His Words of Fire will lift you up, up, up to a higher place upon the heavenly clouds above the cold-hearted air of this world- the lifeless, loveless, worthless, Truthless voice of the enemy.
If the air is allowed to cool down, the balloon begins to slowly come back down.
Keep that Burn going! Keep that flame and passion of the Holy Spirit inside of you Alive to know God through His Word- Jesus. And He will take you from Glory to Glory!
I’m writing to encourage you to fan into a flame and rekindle the fire of the spiritual gift God imparted to you when I laid my hands upon you.
{2 Timothy 1:6}
Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We’re free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.

The Presence of God Lights Us Up!
We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

The Spirit of God Lifts Us Up!
You are being called higher, to travel to destinations of Glory and more Glory!
So Give Satan the Boot!
