As a Christian mom, I understand the importance of finding books your kids will not only enjoy reading but also are good for them to read. That’s why I’ve written several children’s books to help little ones grow in their faith and love toward God.
Culture today can be unnerving for kiddos and parents alike. The enemy is always striving to steal, kill, and destroy. Sadly, he’s targeting children to lead them astray—enticing them to seek identity and happiness through ungodly means. Often, he uses entertainment and education to get them off track.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. { John 10:10}
I’ve always taught my kids that you are what you put in. In other words, what you allow in through your eyes and ears is what comes out of your mouth and heart. What our children read matters. I recently saw a statement that said, “Read a book in any format!—in other words, No Rules Just Read!” While I agree with encouraging kids to pick up a book, I strongly disagree with picking up just "any" book. Children are very impressionable at a young age, and easily manipulated. Satan knows this. That’s why he’s working extremely hard to introduce corrupt education into our schools that only cause destruction and confusion.
This is one reason in particular, why I’m fighting to combat the lies of the enemy. It breaks my mama-bear heart to see children walking away from God’s design and purpose for their lives. I can’t stand back and say or do nothing about it. In response, I’ve written and illustrated four Christian picture books (and one on the way) that will help little ones know the truth of God’s word.
My first book, The Father’s Princess: The Story of the White Daisy is a true fairy tale for all God's children.
